The New York Experience in Europe To promote New York City as a vacation destination to Europeans, New York Department of Tourism and American Express played host to "THE NEW YORK EXPERIENCE", which New Leaf Events was hired to create and produce. The event brought a sampling of New York City to Frankfurt, Germany and London, England. A cocktail reception kicked off the evening, in a space which had custom made specialty décor to create facades that replicated 5th Avenue, FAO Schwarz, Madison Square Garden, Metropolitan Museum of Art and Tavern On The Green. Executive. Dinner was prepared by Executive Chefs from a few of the best and most notable NYC restaurants; 21 Club, Lutece, Windows On The World, and the Rainbow Room. Of course, the evening's entertainment came straight from current Broadway stars who performed a medley of Broadway hits.
